Position 1: Dispatcher Assistant (NOT CURRENTLY OPEN)

Gold Rush Express Delivery has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, initiative-taking entry-level Dispatcher with a min of 1 years’ experience or equivalent. Successful candidates are organized, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and able to efficiently multi-task. This is a full-time, non-exempt level position, reporting to the Dispatch Coordinator/Manager.

We have been providing a same-day delivery service for over 35+ years. We are a service-driven delivery/courier company that focuses on deliveries for the healthcare industry, banks, mail drop-offs, meal prep deliveries, office supplies, and more. We specialize in airline cargo drop-off and recovery.

  • Schedule Requirement for this position:
  • Wednesday – Friday 11:00AM to 1930 (7:30PM), Saturday 0900 to 17:30 (5:30PM ) and Sunday 0700 to 1530pm (3:30PM)
  • Pay Rate: $19 Per hour to 22 Per Hour – Rate is DOE
  • Not a remote role

A temporary training schedule will be in placed:

Monday To Friday (Weekend off) 0800 to 1630 (4:30PM)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles
  • Must be able to speak, write ,read and understand English in order to understand and follow directions, communicate clearly with customers and complete other written assigned task such as email, reports
  • Ability to speak, write and understand spanish is a plus but not required
  • Computer Skills/Tech Savvy (e.g., Windows, PC, laptops, phones, etc.) to be able to learn new programs quickly and accurately
  • Has some knowledge of MS Excel/ or Google Suite is preferred not required
  • Great to excellent people skills and maintain professionalism
  • Has some knowledge of ecourier, doc hub, Ariba, EOS,Bill.com, Hubspot,One Local, QB, Quick int. (Preferred but not required)
  • Strong Organizational skills & detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and multitasking skills
  • Adaptive learner, with good prioritization skills, who is familiar with setting appropriate expectations
  • Average of 35+ WPM
  • General Knowledge of Bay Area, Freeways and Cities.
  • We are willing to train the right person

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Process data/data entry, order/tag entries
  • Working closely with Dispatch team
  • Assist with some minimal warehouse customers and Order pulls
  • Responsible for contacting customers in regard to their orders, deliveries, POD’s, customer portals and email job confirmations
  • Assist with answering calls and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Review daily pricing for accuracy of customer jobs/tags
  • Assist with account applications by reviewing and forward to accounting, office manager and Sales Admin for final process
  • Ensure that all reporting (weekly reports etc..) is done in a timely manner
  • Assist dispatch with daily task
  • Other Admin Duties may be assigned or changed

Position 2: Delivery Drivers – Company Box Truck and owner operators

(CURRENTLY CLOSED- NOT OPEN)

The perfect job for someone who doesn’t like to be stuck in an office and appreciates different scenery on a daily basis. You will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to deliver packages on demand.

Shifts available:
Day shifts 0900-1800

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate vehicle.
Load and unload cargo.
Properly document job information via mobile app.
Provide friendly customer service to customers.
Drive up to 150-200 miles per day.
Drive around the Silicon Valley, San Francisco Bay area making pick ups and deliveries of just about everything.

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

Applicants with the own vehicle must pass vehicle inspection.
Previous experience in delivery driving or other related fields preferred.
Box truck applicants need to have experience with larger vehicles.
5 Years Clean Driving record.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Ability to pass background check.
Strong work ethic, organized, works well independently.

Position 3: Customer Service Admin (CURRENTLY CLOSED- NOT OPEN)

We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to manage customer queries and complaints. You will also be asked to process orders  and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers. Shift is 0900-1800 with 1 hour lunch.

Customer Service Admin Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Various office tasks including scanning and filing.

Customer Service Representative Requirements:

  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.
